oh and for the tabs, on the top and bottom tabs set your left and right margins to 20 each, that will help them stretch correctly. For the left and right tabs set the top and bottom to 20.
If you want the icons to sit inside the blue, you need to make the backgrounds bigger. For a simple background like that, try making it 200 x 120 (that is my standard size) That way, you don't have problems with the borders. Open one of my .ini files and take a look at this...

ResizeIconByPercent = 80
OffsetIconByPercentX = 50
OffsetIconByPercentY = 50
If you put a tileblank.png (just a blank png 40x40) image in your folder, it'll help size down your icons to whatever you like (80 being the size, smaller the number, smaller the icon) That helps bring them into the borders without having to make the dock bigger using margins...I encourage you to look at other people's .ini files and use what you can. You've got my permission to use mine if it helps. Anytime you need something, let me know.

RobJK, Thanks for your comment. I used Audacity to clean the clips and add some effects. I have a sound effects DVD with a gazillion sounds to glean from. That means I'll be making more themes when I get around to it. Blessings...sStubby

I host the files on my site and all you need to do is zip your file and upload to the soundpackager section, with a screen shot if you have one. from there I will load it too the gallery. Cheers shsunna

Robby I would think that once you put a package together for the theme there will be several of the skinners working on the package that would test your sound package. It would be kind of hard for someone not working on the project to test it.

Hi Robby. I think for Jafo's project you are going to have to wait and see some graphics first. Depending of what they come up with how about sounds of machines runned by steam, steam whistles, jack hammers etc. Not as easy as a Birthday Theme.

Hey RobJK, in the ObjectDock folder there is a text doc called SkinningTheDock, it explains the settings, you can also take a look at the .ini of backgrounds you have downloaded to see how it is done.
Hey RobJK, notepad, or any text editor, for the background.ini and any half decent graphics program, I use Paint Shop Pro X.

Acording to the winamp skin u were trying to make work:
Rember you have to go to folder settings and uhm, okay this is a danish computer, but it shud say something like "show" or something that is something like that, then unclick "show ending for known filetypes" or something like that, sorry if im not helping out here but just confusing more XD, now everything shud look like.. if u had a text document it shud be xxxxx.txt, re name the winRAR file u downloaded to CNYforWinamp.wal, then it shud pop up with "do you want to do this, it ma cause the filetype to change, or not to work", just do it . and there you go. it works ^^
