jazzy, No I'm not sure what you mean by that address, so I'll give you one of mine that I use for junk, and I'll send you my normal address from there...subject: angus1949@wincustomize

Hope to hear from you soon.

This is weird....I have been building computers since 1999! I got tired of all the proprietary crap on new computers, so I decided to build my own....my youngest son helped me with the first one...but I learned really quickly...now I not only build my computers, but I also build them for other people too. And, I also repair/fix computers....most of the time it is software related....what people do to screw up their computers is unreal...lol.

That pic is only a year old...and, yes, I really do have 5 kids, ranging in age from 42 to 32. And, 13 grandkids so far!

I got started with customizing desktops. Look in the screenshot gallery...there are so many things you can do. The only thing is that you have to have all the software for the things you want to use. Do you have Object Desktop, or just Windowblinds?

If you want more help, feel free to email me at mjr45rn at aol. (I assume you know what I mean by that address).

Mary Jane, You are more than welcome, you deserve the kudos. I've had no background in any kind of scripting or graphics programs like Photoshop. I only learned basic computer skills 10 years ago at P.T.E.C. in Clearwater while taking architectural CAD classes after I was disabled. Didn't care for the CAD but I fell in love with the hardware. Been building systems for myself, family and friends ever since. I think I may just be too dense to learn skinning...we'll see. What type of projects would you suggest for the absolute beginner?

Yes we got the storm. The winds were worse than what we experienced the two years we had the hurricanes; no damage though.

Well the age thing. In your picture you look about 30 years younger than the age you list (5 kids...really). Besides, age is only a state of mind. My body may be 58 (feels 85) but my mind is still 30.

Angus, thanks for stopping by my site...glad to see you have your personal page set up! Thanks for the kudos about my work. Hey...if you are an old man, does that make me an ancient woman? LOL!

I feel honored that you have listed me as one of your favorite authors...thank you so much! :)

Did you get that bad storm stuff yesterday? It was pretty dicey here...I swear we had 70 mile an hour winds!
